Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion Training
10 days - £3250 + vat
Our Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion training course is the second module in our Six Sigma Black Belt Training Package.
The Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion Training course is aimed at delegates who have already achieved Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Delegates who have not attended Six Sigma Green Belt training should first attend our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training course and complete a Six Sigma project before attending.
If you have received Six Sigma Green Belt training elsewhere and feel you have the experience required to attend our Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion course, please call us on 01273 622272 to discuss your experience and arrange to be sent our pre-course questionnaire.
Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion Training
Most organisations recognise that employees who are trained Six Sigma Green Belts are capable of moving up to Six Sigma Black Belt level. It is important that this opportunity be available without having to complete the full Black Belt course.
This Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion training programme is designed to incorporate those elements from the Six Sigma Black Belt training course that are additional to the Six Sigma Green Belt course.
Six Sigma Black Belts are individuals that are trained to apply diversified and intensive improvement techniques to achieve greater process efficiency and effectiveness. A Six Sigma Black Belt provides training, direction, facilitation, analysis and also advises on product and process improvement.
Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion Course Objectives
At the end of this intensive Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion training programme delegates will understand and be able to:
- Apply the principles of the Six Sigma DMAIC performance improvement model.
- Identify the “cost per poor quality” COPQ
- Establish the “Voice of the Customer” in defining the required performance standard.
- Use a number of measurement approaches and tools to establish current performance.
- Recognise the difference in approach and techniques for incremental and redesign improvement strategies and know how to decide on the correct approach.
- Appropriately apply a number of advanced statistical analysis tools and techniques to establish the root cause of a problem.
- Complete a full Six Sigma project- trough the DMA and some I phases
- Establish ongoing process controls and process governance structures.
- Use Minitab to provide data analysis and process capability
Characteristics of a Black Belt:
- Project Manger- Programme Manager
- Excellent Communicator
- Self Starter
- Influential
- Organised
- Open Minded / Creative
